Dr. Yousef Zarbalian, MD

Medical director, Rheumatologist

Meet Dr. Zarbalian, a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine, rheumatology, and integrative care. He recognized that conventional treatments sometimes left patients without complete relief, inspiring him to adopt a more holistic approach. In 2019, he founded East-West Rheumatology—a unique practice that combines modern medical science with natural therapies like herbal medicine and acupuncture to effectively treat a wide range of joint and muscle conditions.

Nevin Turk, L.Ac

Acupuncturist

Nevin is a Licensed Acupuncturist with a deep passion for integrative mind-body practices. Her journey from a stressful corporate career to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) reflects her dedication to holistic wellness. Nevin's Expertise: Certified in yoga, qigong, mindfulness meditation, and a Level 1 certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, Nevin brings a wealth of insights to her acupuncture practice.

Rasa Ghaffarian, PhD

Certified health coach

Rasa Ghaffarian, PhD is a certified health coach specializing in trauma-informed, mind- body and lifestyle approaches to healing. With many years of navigating a chronic autoimmune condition, Rasa has discovered the innate healing power of the body upon compassionate alliance with its emotions, needs, and authentic truth. Blending evidence-based coaching methods with mindfulness, nervous system regulation tools, and lifestyle strategies, Rasa helps clients address the root causes of chronic stress, reduce inflammation triggers, and reconnect with their bodies in empowering and sustainable ways.
